This soft sided pet carrier with pockets is worth buying if you have a cat, small dog, or rabbit under 6 lbs and travel more than once or twice a year. The mesh panels, five pockets, and internal safety rope cover the basics most carriers skip. Buy if you need something that folds flat between trips.

Quick Verdict
Five pockets, mesh vents on multiple sides, and a safety rope that threads through the collar. That’s a lot packed into a carrier that folds flat when you’re not using it.
Buy if you:
- Have a cat, small dog, or rabbit under the 6 lb weight capacity
- Want pockets for treats, waste bags, and a leash instead of a separate bag
- Travel for vet visits or trips more than once or twice a year
Skip if you:
- Have a pet pushing past the 6 lb max load this size is rated for
- Need something rigid for airline underseat specs, this is soft sided cotton
- Want a one-pocket minimalist carrier instead of five stuffed storage spots

Five Pockets Sounded Like Overkill Until I Packed It
I’ll admit I was skeptical of needing five separate pockets on a pet carrier. But once I started loading mine up with treats, a spare leash, waste bags, and a water bottle, I used every single one. You can check today’s price on this carrier here if you want to see the pocket layout for yourself. For anyone who’s traveled with a separate pet bag AND a carrier, having it all built into one piece changes the whole experience.
The Zipper Pulls Are Smaller Than I’d Like
I wish the zipper pulls were bigger. With a nervous cat or a wiggly pup on your hands, fumbling with small zipper tabs is not where you want to be spending your attention. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s the one piece of hardware I’d ask the manufacturer to size up.
Mesh Everywhere Means Less Panic in the Carrier

My cat stopped vocalizing within a few minutes of being zipped in, something she never does in her old single-window carrier. Mesh on multiple sides means she could track movement around her instead of staring at a wall of fabric, and that difference in visibility is the fastest I’ve seen her settle. The cotton shell breathes noticeably better than the vinyl carriers I’ve used, too, which matters on longer drives.
Folding It Down Is Simple, Washing It Is Not
Collapsing it is a ten-second job, fold, press, done, and it stores flat under a bed without the awkward bulk of a hard-sided crate. The cleaning situation is less convenient: cotton absorbs an accident instead of shedding it, which means a full wash cycle, not a paper-towel moment. If your pet is prone to carsickness, budget for that wash between every trip.
Where This One Lands After Using It
The 6 lb ceiling is a hard cutoff, don’t push it. But if your pet is under that limit and you’re tired of juggling a carrier in one hand and a separate pet bag in the other, this one earns its place: the five pockets eliminate the extra bag, the hard bottom protects joints on longer hauls, and the internal safety rope is the kind of feature you only appreciate the first time a zip-open escape attempt nearly succeeds. The small zipper pulls are the one thing I’d fix, but not enough to skip it.
Pros
- Five pockets actually get used for treats, bags, and extras
- Mesh panels on multiple sides keep the pet visible and cooler
- Hard bottom panel protects joints better than a soft sling
- Folds flat for storage between trips
- Internal safety rope adds real security at the vet or airport
Cons
- Zipper pulls are small and fiddly with a squirming pet
- Cotton means a real wash cycle, not a quick wipe down
- 6 lb max load rules out most medium and large dogs
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this carrier go under an airplane seat?
It’s soft sided cotton, not a rigid airline-certified case, so check your specific carrier’s size policy before flying. The 17″ x 7.5″ x 12″ size and smaller options may fit, but confirm with your airline first.
How do I clean the carrier between uses?
It’s cotton, so plan on a real wash cycle rather than a wipe-down for anything beyond light dust or hair. Check the care instructions before tossing it in a machine.
What’s the return policy if it doesn’t fit my pet?
There’s a 30-day refund or replacement policy listed with this carrier. Measure your pet’s weight against the 6 lb max before ordering, and size up to one of the larger dimension options if you’re close to the limit.
