Yes, these green striped faux fur pillow covers are worth buying if you have a plain room that needs texture and color without a redecorating budget. You get two covers in a light green that reads natural rather than loud. Buy.

Quick Verdict
Two covers that had been sitting in my house, and the second they went on the couch in this room, they look so good in here. The texture’s cool, the wider stripe is cool, and the light green landed exactly right against the plants. I’m so happy with them.
Buy if you:
- have a white or neutral room that feels flat and need texture
- are building a natural, plant-heavy look and want a soft green
- already own pillow inserts and just need the covers
- want two matching covers rather than one
Skip if you:
- don’t already own inserts, since these are covers only and nothing goes inside them out of the package
- want a deep saturated green, these are a nice light green
- need something other than the available sizes

The White Room That Wouldn’t Cooperate
These faux fur pillow covers had been sitting in a closet for weeks while I tried to figure out why a white room full of plants still looked unfinished. Two minutes after I put them on the couch, I had my answer. The texture and that stripe of green did what the plants alone couldn’t: gave the room something to look at.
They’re Covers Only, Not Pillows

These are covers only; inserts must be purchased separately. That’s the one thing people get wrong ordering these, and it’s the reason the set of two is priced the way it is. If you already have inserts sitting in a closet, that’s a win. If you don’t, you’re buying two more things before anything goes on your couch.
The Texture and That Wider Stripe
The faux fur catches light from different angles, which is what stops a plain white room from reading as flat. The faux fur isn’t flat, so it catches light differently depending on where you sit, and that’s most of what makes a plain white room stop reading as plain. The design with this wider part’s cool too. One stripe runs broader than the rest, so the pattern isn’t just evenly repeating lines. And I love the color. They’re a nice light green, soft enough to sit next to plants without competing with them. Care is cold water on gentle, tumble dry low or hang dry, no bleach. The velvet back matters more than it sounds like it would, because it means you can flip one over and get a completely different texture on the same couch.
Where These Sit Against Other Covers
Most covers at this price give you one thing, a color or a texture, not both. These have the faux fur stripe pattern on the front and a velvet back, so you’re getting two distinct looks in one set. The polyester has recycled content, not a reason to buy them, but a genuinely good thing to find on something this inexpensive.
Pick Your Size Before You Click
Measure your inserts first: covers that run too large go saggy and lose the textured effect. Get the size right and these will outperform what you paid for them. Check current pricing here.
Pros
- Texture that reads as expensive in a plain room
- Wider stripe in the design keeps the pattern from being boring
- Light green that works with plants and natural decor
- Set of two
- Velvet back gives you a second look from the same cover
Cons
- Inserts not included, so they do nothing on their own
- The green is light, not a bold statement color
- Faux fur needs gentle cold washing, no tossing it in with towels
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put these in the dryer?
Tumble dry low or hang dry, and no bleach. High heat is what mats faux fur, so if you’re unsure, hang them.
What’s the return window if the green isn’t what I expected?
Check with the seller for their return policy. Color is the thing people misjudge most on pillow covers, so that window is worth knowing about.
Will these work on a bed instead of a couch?
Yes, they’re made for sofas and beds both. For a bed you may want to consider the larger sizes available, depending on your pillow dimensions.
