Quick Verdict
“This is the best of the best.” One palette gave me contour, blush, highlight and three warm eyeshadows that pulled real pigment in a single swipe. The only catch: there’s a highlighter in here I still don’t know how to use, so I’m learning it alongside you.
Buy if you:
- want contour, blush, highlight and eyeshadow in one face palette
- like warm, natural-looking shades that still carry good pigment
- do a quick everyday face and want fewer products on the counter
- want one travel-friendly kit instead of four separate compacts
Skip if you:
- want step-by-step highlighter instruction, because I’m still figuring mine out
- prefer cool-toned or bold, dramatic shades over warm neutrals
- already own separate contour, blush and shadow you love

The Face Palette I Saved For Last Because It’s the Best of the Best
I saved this one for last because it earned the spot. The Laura Geller packs contour, blush, highlight and three eyeshadows into a single compact, and after filming my full face with it, I reached back into it twice more before the camera stopped rolling. You can grab the same one I used here on Amazon. Right out of the gate my false lash glue came unstuck and the lash fell out, but luckily it did not break, so we carried on.
What’s Packed Into This One Compact
It’s a full-face kit, not a single eyeshadow tray. Inside this baked face palette you get three neutral baked eyeshadows, a creamy bronze shade I use for contour, light gold and champagne highlight shades, and a peach-pink blush. That’s a whole face in one lid. The shades read warm and natural, which is exactly what I want for an everyday look on mature skin.
| Spec | Detail |
|---|---|
| Format | Baked face palette |
| Eyeshadows | 3 neutral baked shades |
| Face shades | Bronze contour, blush, gold + champagne highlight |
| Texture | Smooth, pigmented in one swipe |
| Best for | Warm, natural everyday looks |
How It Performed When I Did My Whole Face
One swipe gave me real pigment, no building required. I took the bronze and placed a little at the side of my nose just to make my nose look a little thinner, then ran it along my jawline and around the edges. That’s the contour done. Then I grabbed the blush from the same compact and that was the cheeks sorted in seconds.
The eyeshadows are where I kept saying “I love these colors.” They’re very warm and natural looking, but they carry good pigment, so they don’t disappear the second they hit the lid. I went over the whole eyelid first, then switched to a darker brush and went into the corners a little bit just to give my eyes a little definition. See that? It looks nice. The fact that the lighter all-over shade and one of the highlight shades are so similar meant I could swap between them without overthinking it.
The Highlighter I Don’t Know How to Use Yet
There’s a highlight in here I have no idea how to use, because I don’t highlight. That’s the catch. It would be more my daughter’s thing than mine, so I left it mostly alone and leaned on the shade above it instead since they’re very similar. If you already highlight, this is a bonus you’ll use straight away. If you’re like me and skip it, you’ll basically be paying for one pan you don’t touch. I’m going to learn it and then I will show you guys so we can work on it together.

Who This Face Palette Actually Suits
If you’re already doing a separate blush, bronzer and shadow palette every morning, this replaces all three and cuts the counter clutter to one compact. The warm, natural shades are specifically what I’d reach for on mature skin, enough pigment to read in a single swipe, none of the glitter or harsh contrast that settles into fine lines. It’s also a tidy travel kit. One compact in the bag covers contour, cheeks and eyes, which is the whole point of a face palette for me.
How This Beats Carrying Four Separate Compacts
The real comparison is this one palette versus a drawer full of single products. I used to reach for a separate blush, a separate bronzer and a shadow palette, and it adds up on the counter and in the bag. Here it’s all in one place with shades chosen to work together, so nothing clashes. The trade-off is choice. A dedicated highlighter palette would give you more glow options than the one or two highlight shades in here, and a big standalone eyeshadow palette gives you more colors. But for a fast, coordinated everyday face, one well-built palette wins for me.
My Advice Before You Buy It
Start with the bronze lighter than you think you need, a feathered sweep at the side of the nose and along the jawline is enough; you can build, you can’t unbuild. For eyes, I used a flat brush over the whole lid first, then a smaller darker brush just into the outer corners for definition. Skip the highlighter pan entirely if that’s not your thing; the blush and warm shadow shades carry a full look without it. And keep it in a pouch rather than loose in a bag, it survived my filming chaos, but baked powder doesn’t forgive a hard drop.
Pros
- Contour, blush, highlight and three eyeshadows in one compact
- Warm, natural-looking shades that still carry good pigment in one swipe
- Lighter all-over shade and a highlight shade are similar enough to swap freely
- Compact and travel-friendly, replacing several separate products
- Quick to use for an everyday face
Cons
- The highlighter pan goes unused if you don’t highlight
- Shades are warm neutrals, so not ideal if you want cool tones or bold drama
- Fewer eyeshadow and glow options than dedicated standalone palettes
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this face palette good for mature skin?
Yes. The shades read warm and natural rather than glittery or harsh, which sits nicely on mature skin. The pigment is there in one swipe, so you don’t have to keep building and packing on product.
Can I use this as my only makeup palette?
For contour, blush, highlight and eyeshadow, yes. It covers all four in one lid, which is why it works so well as a travel or everyday kit. You’d still want a separate foundation, brows and lips to finish the face.
Does the face palette powder need a special brush?
No. I used a regular eye brush over the whole lid, then switched to a darker, smaller brush for the corners. Pick whichever brush you like; the powder picks up easily either way.
How do I use the highlighter shade?
I’m still learning that one myself, because I don’t highlight day to day. Generally highlighter goes on the high points of the face like cheekbones and the bridge of the nose, but I plan to test it properly and show it in a follow-up.
Are the colors warm or cool toned?
Warm. The eyeshadows and bronzer all lean warm and natural, with a peach-pink blush. If you specifically want cool, ashy tones, this isn’t the set for that.
Is this palette travel-friendly?
Yes, that’s one of its strengths. One compact replaces a separate bronzer, blush and shadow palette, so it cuts down what you pack. It slips into a bag without taking up much room.
How sturdy is the compact?
It held up fine for me. I was fumbling things all through filming and nothing in it broke. I’d still treat it gently in a bag rather than tossing it around loose.
Will the lighter shades show up on the eyes?
Yes. Even the warm, natural shades carry good pigment, so they show on the lid in one pass without fading away. I deepened the corners with the darker shade for a bit of extra definition.
