I’d just washed my face and had nothing on it at all. That part matters, because this red light therapy sonic device isn’t meant to glide over bare dry skin. The first thing I wanted to start with was the No Talk Serum, then the niacinamide right on top. They work best together.
Quick Verdict
One pass up my jawline and my face felt awake, like it woke up all my cells on my skin. Warmth plus vibration plus 7 light colors, and it works on your underarms too. The colors are only labelled on the device, so you’re memorizing what green does.
Buy if you:
- already use serums and want them worked in instead of sitting on top
- are targeting jawline and neck, not just cheeks
- get redness in one spot and want a calming blue setting for it
- want something cordless you can use morning and night
Skip if you:
- don’t want to stop mid-routine to cycle colors and remember which does what
- expect a one-session result, this is a feel-good routine you repeat
- prefer to apply skincare with bare hands and be done in 30 seconds

I Started With a Clean Face and Two Serums
I put the serum straight on my face rather than into my hands first. You can do it either way. I was a little bit dry that day so I added a little bit more than usual, blended it in, then layered the niacinamide the same way. And I went further down my neck than I normally would, because that’s an area I’m targeting.
Then I held the button down to turn it on and started on my jaw. Slowly, lifting up and away. It feels so good.
Warmth, Vibration, and Seven Colors
Vibration plus warmth equals the core experience, it’s gentle, not aggressive. It’s not aggressive, the vibration is closer to a firm pat than a buzz, and the warmth sits just above body temperature, enough to feel intentional without stinging. Three minutes on my jaw and I genuinely didn’t want to put it down.
The light changes colors too, and each one is doing something different. Red is for boosting collagen. Blue is for calming your skin. Green evens your skin tone out. Violet refines texture. Amber enhances radiance. CN soothes and balances hydration. White revitalizes overall skin health. That’s 7 settings in one handheld tool, which is a lot for something you hold in one hand.
I went back to the red for my face, because collagen is what I want. But the blue caught my attention. I can get a little bit of redness sometimes, especially in one area, and that’s exactly where I’d want the calming setting. Different colors for different things, which means one device is covering a few concerns instead of one.
The forehead is my other favourite spot. I like to go up, up, up with it. Same slow lifting motion I use on the jaw.
It’s Not Only a Face Device
Your underarms are the part most people don’t see coming. I switched the light over to green for that area because green evens your skin tone out, and I have a little bit of unevenness there. It’s supposed to help smooth your skin out a little bit as well.
That curved shape is why it works there, it hugs the upper arm the same way it hugs a jawline, so you’re not torquing your wrist to keep contact. I did both sides in maybe two minutes, no awkward repositioning.

If you bought this thinking it’s a face-only gadget, you’re using half of it. Neck, jawline, upper arms, all in the same session.

The Color Menu Slowed Me Down
Here’s my one real friction: I had to stop and check. When I switched to the underarms, I changed the color and then paused to look and confirm green was the even-skin-tone one before I carried on. That’s not a disaster, but it’s the difference between a routine you flow through and one you think about.
Seven colors is generous. It’s also 7 things to memorize. After a week you’ll probably know your two go-tos by heart and ignore the rest, which is fine, but on day one you’re cycling and squinting.
Who This Actually Suits, Morning and Night
This is for someone who already owns serums and wants them doing more. That’s the fit. The vibration and warmth work the product in; my face felt alert and energized, the way it does after a professional facial. It woke up all my cells on my skin. Then I went straight on with my moisturizer and some makeup, no waiting around, no residue to wipe off.
Being cordless means I grabbed it at my bathroom counter in the morning and my bedroom vanity at night, no hunting for an outlet, no skipped sessions. That matters because this device earns its keep through repetition: one use feels good, a week of daily use is where you’d expect to see a difference.
If you’re someone who wants skincare to take 30 seconds, you won’t keep it up. If you like the ritual of it, you’ll use it twice a day and enjoy it.
Pros
- Warmth and vibration together feel great, not harsh
- 7 light colors covering collagen, calming, tone, texture, radiance, hydration and overall health
- Curved shape works on jawline, neck and underarms, not just cheeks
- Cordless and rechargeable, so it fits wherever you get ready
- Moves serums into the skin instead of leaving them sitting on top
Cons
- I had to stop and double-check which color was which mid-routine
- Works best layered over two serums, so it’s an add-on cost if you don’t already have them
- Twice a day is the ask, and that’s a real time commitment
What we’d improve
Two small changes would make the next version easier to live with:
- Color labelling, print the function next to each color on the handle, or let the device name the mode, so you’re not pausing to remember that green is the even-tone one.
- Favourites memory, let it start on the last color you used. Most of us will settle on red for the face and green for the arms, and cycling through all 7 every session gets old.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use it over makeup or sunscreen?
No, start on a clean face. I washed mine and had nothing on it at all before applying serums. Makeup and sunscreen sit between the device and your skin, which defeats the point of using it to work product in.
Do I have to use those exact two serums?
Any slip-giving serum will do, but you need something. I used the No Talk Serum and a niacinamide layered one after the other because they work best together. Dry skin with no product underneath will just drag.
Should anyone check with a doctor first?
Yes, if you’re on photosensitizing medication, have a skin condition being treated, or are pregnant, ask your doctor before starting LED therapy. I’m reviewing how it feels and how I use it, not giving medical advice.
Can I use it in the shower?
I’d keep it at the counter, not in the shower. It’s a rechargeable electronic device and I used it on a dry, freshly-cleansed face with serums, which is the setup it’s built around.
